Billy F. Bryant
Billy F. Bryant, Professor of Mathematics, Emeritus, taught at Vanderbilt University from 1948 to 1986. Bryant received a B.S. from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree from Peabody College, and his doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University. He was very active in the Southeastern Section holding positions as Vice-Chair (1964), Secretary-Treasurer (1969-1972), Governor (1973-1976), Chair (1980), and Section Lecturer (1980). In 1992 he received the Section Distinguished Service Award and in 1994 he received the Meritorious Service Award.
Marcellus Waddill
Marcellus Waddill is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Wake Forest University where he taught for thirty-five years, retiring in 1997. He received his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He was Secretary-Treasurer of the section from 1990-1996. Waddill received the 1996 Section Distinguished Service Award and the 1999 Meritorious Service Award.

Stephen L. Davis
Stephen L. Davis is Professor of Mathematics at Davidson College where he has been since 1982. He received his B.A. from Lindenwood College and his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Stephen was North Carolina State Director from 1991-1994, Secretary-Treasurer from 1996-2002, Chair from 2003-2005, and Governor from 2009 – 2012. In 2006 he received the Section Distinguished Service Award.
